Iint do weed with my mom?

I am a minor, controversy aside I know underage drinking and drug use is common, but most teens hide it from their parents for obvious reasons, but with my mom (we are extremely close and we both struggle with anxiety, depression and other stuff. I only do edibles, and just like a couple times a month. my step-dad knows, in fact he was there the first time I took one. Controversy aside, is it normal?
