Is it normal when i get excited &/or nervous to meet someone, my mouth waters?

Well when I meet someone new or that I have only met for a few times, my mouth produces extra saliva! Its so weird & a bit embarrassing because I have to swallow in case I dribble! Its the weirdest thing. Afraid they'll notice me swallowing. It's annoying & embarrassing! Does this happen to others ??

    I wouldn't worry too much about being noticed swallowing, it beats being noticed drooling lol
