You should never cheat on someone. You should've spoken wih her about the issue. Now, you have to deal with the consequences. And Oli is right, you should've thought about the way she might've felt. It could've made her uncomfortable.
It already looks like you have lost her. But if you really want her back, give her a sincere apology and tell her the real reason why you did it, and that you really love her. And be serious about it. If it doesn't work. Time heals all wounds... unfortunately, sometimes slowly. But you'll find a new girl, and hopefully you won't do wrong to her like you did to this poor girl, right?
