I wish you would stop doing this, for the sake of all members of this site that just want to discuss the topic in each post. I've tried to convey this to you privately, but maybe saying this in context will have some impact.
Have you ever thought that if you dealt with trolls, as per your RESPONSIBILITY in operating and "maintaining" an online forum, no one else would have to? This particular person isn't a troll, but we are left to deal with them day after day because YOU won't.
So yeah, I've become hardshelled and combative. Hardly surprising. I face abuse daily, but you don't seem to care about that. You never blame the perpetrators, because you don't know a single thing about the userbase here. And you only have yourself to thank.
Btw, you could have chosen a better example. This wasn't off topic, or against someone I "persecute". If you actually knew the context, if you had a clue about anyone on here, you would know it was the other way around. Genius.
Let's just ignore that someone has been harrassing me here under hundreds of accounts for over FOUR YEARS and you've always been on that trolls side. You told me to ignore, I did for a year. If you won't do the right thing, why should I sit around and be a victim or leave?
Sort yourself out. Your priorities are ridiculous.
But there are others who do this as well and you don't seem to have a problem with them, for example the "flatuoso" whatever guy who has/had around 25-50 accounts that he uses to talk about her out of context on random posts. Maybe if you stopped that she would have a reason to be more respectful?

This is a website that needs traffic and new users constantly. Blocking doesn't do shit for new users, all they see is trolls and probably won't stick around long enough to figure out who to block. You keep attempting (poorly) to treat the troll symptoms but not the troll problem itself. You keep hurting real users and still not making a difference in the troll issues. It's like you're deliberately trying to find ways for the trolls to stay at the expense of all other users and your own good. Wake the fuck up. Take some constructive criticism instead of stuffing your head further up your ass. How many successful websites are run like this? None. But you keep doing it your way even though it doesn't work. Refuse to learn or listen. Dumbass.

And if by a small chance they are not, they might as well be, because they act in an identical manner (following around specific users, constantly mentioning their names and joking about their mental state, having a "theme"/catchphrase.. I know you are probably too busy to notice but it gets annoying).
I'm not even sure what you'll consider inappropriate or not. I have reported a lot of them for constantly harrassing her and other users but it doesn't seem to go away, as they write their hateful insults in a way that would not be obvious to someone (mods) who don't know the full context. It's very cruel, and I don't even know Charlim personally but I have seen her post kindly, moreso in the past, and can understand why she'd be less respectful of this site these days based on how all the trolls are allowed to act.
I'm actually just one of those accounts. And anyone who thinks charli.m makes overall positive contributions, and only positive contributions, to the website isn't accurate. If she agrees or accepts an answer she leaves it alone, if she doesn't she immediately resorts to attacking that same person with a totally condescending attitude.

I can vouch for Flatuoso's statement. Although his writing style is very similar to mine, he is not me. I am encouraged to respond to his comments because I think it creates a more convivial social media experience for everyone. Understandably, friction is created by too much groupthink. To this I say, go masturbate, have a nap, then come back refreshed and ready to be engaged.

I don't think she was swearing for no reason. I also have a different view of swearing, particularly on a non formal website, but that doesn't make either of us wrong or right.
I don't think you need to apologise, either, but I could have been less bitchy. The whole mess Udi has dropped us all in frustrates me and it was wrong to take it out on a bystander. I'm so used to having to be in defense mode. I wish it wasn't that way.

How do you know they're all the same person? Report all comments that are inappropriate and it'll get dealt with as best we can.
