Im almost positive you dont know what pretrip test you have to do until the day of the test. It is done at random, even the DOT officer doesnt know its computer generated from his device. Unless its changed since 2017 you shouldnt know yet. They're teaching you the in-cab pre trip too right?
Idk I practiced backing up for about a cumulative hour and half this week. From that they made the decision for me drive on the highway next week. I assume I'll learn the inside of the cab when I drive.
Backing up is the hardest part by far. You are supposed to struggle with that part. Its very fuckin hard dude lol. Dont get discouraged.
One tip of advise on the road if you are in an intersection they will say turn wide when you go left or right at it. Your back wheel of your trailer can be used as a point of reference. Whenever that back wheel get parallel to whatever it could hit (curb or car) you can cut the steering wheel as sharp as you want and it will not hit it at that point. You just have to get that back wheel passed it. Its alittle different on sets of doubles but this same formula will also work there too. Doubles just turn easier and wont hit stuff as easy. You have to make sure ur back trailer wheel is passed it.
