  • This is controversial to say now but in a warzone they kind of are delicate little flowers. On the ground as foot soldiers they would be slaughtered and probably fighting against russians theyd be raped. They can do some things like be good pilots or other jobs but on the ground running around with 40+ pounds of gear no they'd be a liability. We figured this out as humans millenniums ago that men make better soldiers than women.

    • Really? There are female soldiers nowadays. And it's not like they'd have to run around with a ton of gear all day if they're the ones defending their towns, they'd just need to carry a gun surely. They could even just be snipers or something. Also for the vast majority of history, wars were fought with melee weapons like spears and swords, where physical strength was more important. I'm not saying you're wrong on this btw, I just wouldn't think that's the case.

      • In the US a few years ago our military tried taking down the different standards for men and women based on sex, because women do not have to meet the standard test as guys they get to do pushups on there knees and do a slower time on their run, they changed it because of the narrative that girls are just as capable but they had to change back because 50% of the girls werent passing the standard mens test which is actually a very easy test. You have to pass it to pass bootcamp and only 7% of guys fail it. In combat zones you have to lift 200 pound guys up at times and often drag them also and youre running around with alot of gear without food and sleep for days at a time..

I agree with you there's some jobs they could do but I agree with them not being forced that would be an absolute shit show if they were all given guns and told to fight im sorry.

        • Ok fair enough. Well like you said, there are still some jobs they could do, so I don't agree that every woman should be allowed to leave while the men are all forced to stay. I think that decision is still based at least somewhat on sexism, although sexism to men. Like the old rule about women and children being given lifeboats first, they just view men's lives as less important.
