Is it normal to write so much fan-fiction about the same two people?

Lately i've been writing a lot of fan-fiction about two characters from an anime that I like. With the fan-fiction a lot of my kinks are in them and well I was just wondering if it was normal to write like that or not.

    Someone I somewhat know is writing a novel and basing the main character off of me, so she says. That's gonna be interesting.
