I have met equally nutty dog and cat owners, it's just one of those things - where you get hobbies you get nutty fanatics. I honestly cant believe that people on here have to justify their arguments by slating a species. Some people like dogs, some people like cats, some people like both, deal with it! If you don't like cats or dogs for whatever personal reasons don't try and justify it by slating the species just because one human prefers type a over type b. The bottom line, all animals are better than the human race, at least they don't waste their time arguing over pathetic random crap. And that is my opinion!!
