i have dogs and a cat and they are too different to compare. but it has been proven that dogs are smarter than cats. just because an animal can kill to survive, that doesnt make it smarter. they are actually training dogs to sniff out cancer in a person. can you teach something like that to a cat? i love all animals and generally the more social an animal is, the smarter it is. that is just how nature is.
i dont have a problem with people who think one is better than the other but i do have a problem with someone hating an animal and abusing an animal. there is just no need for it and it just shows how weak that person is to have to resort to that kind of horrid behaviour.
