I agree with not going back, nor ruminating on, nor reframing the past - its pointless and self denigrating.
You were young, you were active sexually - as are a lot of young people; and, you got caught. Maybe if you had your druthers, it'd be different. But what happened is not bad.
You tried to do what you thought was right in marrying it didn't work. You have a daughter. Talk about silver lining!
So why condemn your past from the standpoint of bible belt prudery? That has little to do with Christianity, which teaches love, forgiveness and acceptance.
