it being a big deal?
I want my first time to be special, but sometimes i wish I could just have sex with the guy I like without it being such a big thing.

i lost my virginity to my friends boyfriends brother. it was a set up by them because he liked me. i never thought he was cute or had any feelings for him at all, plus he was a few years older than me, i wont say how young i was. anyway, i regret loosing it to this guy. it wasnt romantic or any of the sort and i was so embarrassed and felt so pressured that i told him that i wasnt a virgin and we did it. loosing your virginity is not really a big deal but you will always remember your first and you dont want your first to be with some random guy unless that is the memory you want for the rest of your life.
My first time wasn't a big deal. I still don't hold that time as a special thing. I say if you are comfortable with the guy and want to then go for it. As long as you don't end up sleeping around.
Some people have sex because it feels good, some because they feel it is an expression of deep love and mutual respect, some simply to procreate, and some just to brag.
Whatever your reason, I hope you wait until you are truly ready... ready for how it will affect you emotionally, ready to protect yourself from dangerous diseases, and ready to be responsible for any unpredicted consequences of your actions.
When it's right and you are ready for it, it will be wonderful. If something goes wrong and you are not ready for it...
