One of reasons that drew me to this post was I've been trying to convince my g/f to wear one out in public every so often and she finally agreed the other night. You got any suggestions for extended wear, or even lube types. Thanks in advance! Also going to order a fox tail plug as well, that will be her first tail plug, should be fun.
Has she tried anal stuff before? If not, start out small and work your way up. Starting small and going big will gradually stretch the hole rather than rip it. Bad experience = less inclined to try again. Also, set time goals. Ie: quarter day, then half day, then whole day...
As for lube, I use oil based because my body is extremely sensitive to water based products but water based is less messy and can be used with latex.
Yes she has.(butt plugs, and a vibrator) However has not let me have anal with her...(very frustrating but she swallows so it helps make up for it) Sorry getting sidetracked... She loves her butt plugs, maybe not as much as you. She had a three size set of those jeweled butt plugs before we even met. She typically only wears them in the bedroom but had always talked about wearing one out to dinner, movies, shopping, etc... to add a little level of taboo to the evening and to make coming home that much more fun.
Like you said I think were going to start small and then increase the size as her largest plug is over 2 inches in diameter and I don't anticipate her being comfortable with that up her ass for an evening right off the bat. Do you ever wear your larger plugs out? Is that something that's even possible?
As far as lube goes I've heard oil based is terrible for germs. Oil can trap bacteria which is something to watch out for when doing anal play. We typically just use astroglide because its something you can buy at the drug store but was curious if you had something to recommend.

I have a baby plug that is about the diameter of a toothbrush and I put that one in for proloned use ie: overnight. I only wear the big ones when stretching for pleasure.
I mean larger ones make it harder to bend and sit but it can be done, just highly uncomfortable. I mostly have silicone as those are bendy but I do have one metal set and that is for pleasure at home.
Good choice for tail and I have hesrd that about oil lubes but haven't had problems yet.
