Is it normal to want to stomp on a dogs head when it wont stop barking?

I'm not a violent person, but the dog next door barks all day long for no reason and I always just want to mix some poison in a nice steak and toss it over the fence. Alas, my conscience won't allow it, so the dog continues barking... Like right now :-(

To make a dog stop barking, get an oleander leaf, skewer it in a hot dog and feed it to the dog and he won't bark.

I yelled "shut the fuck up" once at a dog across the street. It didnt shut up.

but no, throw a chew over the fence, or a toy, that'll shut it up. until it devours it.

Dogs bark for a reason. If you want to vent your anger about it - try directing it toward the cause of the barking - the owners! They're most likely leaving it by itself for long periods and it is bored and lonely. Poor thing. They need to get it a mate to play with, or leave a big bone for it to chew on.

It's pretty ormal to get annoyed and have violent thoughts if the dog goes on and on with his barking... But it realy would not be normal if you would follow said thoughts.

I do the same thing. Only worse. I would never hurt my dog though.
