First, get some good video of her tantrums. Next, get a good lawyer. Life is way too short to spend it with such a bitch. I doubt you'll even consider it though.
At the very least, show the videos to friends and relatives. Let everyone see her true colors. You never know, it could just shock her into improvement. She may truly not realize how bad she acts.
It isn't doing your kids any good watching her behavior either. You may be condemning them to lives filled with broken relationships and misery with your inaction.
