Is it normal to want to lucid dream?

Any tips/anecdotes on successful lucid dreaming? I've done it once or twice by accident when I was little but haven't been able to pull it off on purpose. Being able to master it would be really convenient.

    Definitely not easy.try these.

    1. Count your fingers, looking at them once in an hour.Say im not dreaming.

2.look at clock and tell the time.say im not dreamimg.

3.look at something near and far. Say im not dreaming.

4.have a dream journal.Try to write down what you saw in that dream. Even the smaller detail.

After few days /or weeks you will be able to imrpove dreaming..each time dream will be more clear.

Even just the dream journal can alone help to improve dreaming.

    Thank me later

I used to wish that I could travel in my dreams to visit other people in their dreams. I could bring love, and joy to my friends, and torment my enemies if only had the ability to jump into the dreams of others.

I would really like to see what my cat dreams about, and then I'd give him lots of catnip, and all the sushi he could want! We could go visit the little, blind poodle, and give him back his sight, and then share a big sirloin steak with him just because!

I have always wanted to be able to learn to do this as well. I remember a couple of dreams as a child in which I found out they were dreams towards the end, but that's the closest I've experienced.

I think it would be so cool to dream about things that would be impossible to experience in real life, and to be able to dictate your own dreams.

Unfortunately though, I have no tips.
