Is it normal to want to go to a different school just because of friends?

I go to a university where I have a few cool friends and a few annoying friends that I can't really stand to be around. I find myself bored every weekend because I have no one to hang out with. My best friends go to another school and I was thinking about transfering there because it would a better experience for me. Both schools are good academic wise so that's not an issue.
