I call it the "In-N-Out Effect". When In-N-Out burgers finally came to my state, all my California friends kept talking about how amazing it is and how it's totally worth waiting 45 minutes in the drive thru. When I finally got my food it was good but not great by any means. It was kind of a letdown. And yeah, I'm a compulsive worrier, so that probably plays a role
