Is it normal to use the same toothbrush to brush your teeth and scrub the toilet?

I have a bunch of toothbrushes laying around and I had a system at one point where I put blue tape around the handle to identify them but I don't brush my teeth or clean the toilet that often so I kinda forgot which is which. I just pick up a random one and use it. Sometimes it has a funky taste, not sure if it's from shit or rotten food in my mouth.

    It all depends on the order....

    I have a variety of old toothbrushes that have been and will continue to be used to clean various things... including around the base of the toilet.

    But, they will never be used to brush my teeth again once I use them for other cleaning.

    I know of other people who also use old toothbrushes for cleaning.

    It's a form of recycling. No need to buy a new small brush when several times a year you acquire another used toothbrush.

    No that's just gross, and possibly disease carrying as well. If a toothbrush has been touching poop, I certainly dont want it in my mouth afterwards

        Heres a suggestion. Get an old shoe lace and tie tape it to your toilet. Get a different toothbrish that has not been used and get a different shoelace and tape it to whatever cup you keepyour toothbrush in. Than get a cup and fill it with mouthwash and whiskey and let your other toothbrushes soke in that for 6 hours. Than after 6 hours take the toothbrushes sitting in the whiskey and mouth wash and put them in a large ziplock. Store ziplock in drswer under sink.

    i have used toothbrushes around for various small cleanin tasks but im affluent enough to afford a fuckin toilet brush

      The smaller brush is easier to get between the hinges and in the holes under the rim and good for scrubbing random splatters of dried shit around the toilet.
