Is it normal to think that you'll be rich somehow although you probably wont

Every since I was a child I always believed that I'd be rich. I wanted to be a vetenarian, then an accountant, and now im in school under psychology. Unless I go for my masters in psychology I probably wont be rich but for some reason I still think that one day I'll own a huge house with multiple cars. Is this delusional fantasy my own or do others have this similiar notion in life?

Is It Normal?

  • Life would mean very little without our hopes, dreams, and fantasies.

  • I agree with Shackleford. All things begin with a simple thought.

And no, I can't say I think or don't think I'll be rich. For me it's of little to no importance.

  • It's normal, but then there's something called "Megalomania" that causes delusions of wealth and fame. If it's to that extent, then you may be a Megalomaniac.

  • I think a lot of people think like this.
