Umm, no?
He IS a bad troll, with a bad sense of humor. Seeing a post whose word CAN mean 2 different things, but clearly leans in one direction, and then has an explanation to remove any doubt, but then calling out the other direction, that is not funny if you ask me, and is even worse than grammar nazis.
But maybe your a grammer nazi who can appreciate his "humor."
I mean that accusing people of trolling when they're not (he was giving additional information, not saying that the OP was using the term incorrectly, and clearly not trying to push the meaning he was giving as the ONLY correct use of the term) and grammar Nazi's (how does that even...oh yeah, you're pulling it out of your arse because you have no actual point...) is pretty pathetic.
But what would I know. I'm just a grammar Nazi troll, apparently.
But when it does come down to this post, making comments based off of the person purposely taking the OP out of context, is what I consider trolling. And when he states "Do you *even* know the true (*first*, *actual*, *original*) definition of environmentalism?" That comes off as a poor troll attitude if you ask me. If he only wanted to give the OP additional information, then he would have said something along the lines of " Did you know the original definition of environmentalism was ..." or even just not including the word even. But by saying that, it puts him in a condescending troll tone. And even more so that he has to use 3 additional descriptors (first, actual, and original), just to point out that the OP doesn't even know what environmentalism used to be.
You're a good person, stop defending this sad fail troll. Yeah, I too learned something new about the original definition of "environmentalism," but that wasn't the troll's intentions.
IIN to think that too many environmentalists are clueless sheep?

Or perhaps, people who just don't like him and would rather call troll than think?

Idk what that's supposed to mean?
I wasn't even the person who thumbed him down, I'm just stating why other people thumbed him down.

I didn't accuse him of trolling based on this post. I know for a fact he is a troll based off of most all of his other posts.
