Well... yeah, any war involving the two nations would be horrific. I guess the only real indicator is just how much more the USA spends on their military budget than China, but it doesn't necessarily indicate 'strength'.
Well that being the only indicator dosnt really make it one does it. We Dont know chinas budget either but budget hardly matters compared to the fact the US would be dramatically outmaned and out gunned. The thing keeping the US and any other country safe is that we'd join together against china if they tried something. The US could not stand on its own against them.
There are reported figures. It can be said that however much they *actually* spend on their military budget is different than what they report, but then aren't we getting into conspiracy theory territory? I'm not saying it's not likely, but it is a bit silly to worry about it. The two countries would NEVER fight, period. It simply won't happen. If it did, nukes would probably be involved and the world would likely go to shit. It is irrelevant and also impossible to measure who is "stronger".
The only thing keeping the US and any other country "safe from China" has nothing to do with military power. It has to do with how import dependent their country is along with their economic dependency on world trade.
Im saying china has a stronger millitary than the US because thats what we were talking about, the points i made are to validate that. It isnt a real world scenario because its not a scenario at all its an example put foward to prove my point. And also a fact. Is americas military stronger than chinas? you say yes because they have a higher budget (mabey) i say no because china has more of what counts, more weapons and more people to use them x20. If they cut thier army in half they'd still be more than a match for other countrys in battle. Plus they own most of america and half the world these days......
IIN to think that the USA is the greatest country in the world?

Your the one talking budget, i said it dosnt matter, so no cospiracy theory.
Im talking about if they DID fight not if they will.
And as ive said nukes cant be used because we've all got 'em. THATS WHY ITS CALLED NUCLEAR DETTERENCE!
And again im saying if they WANTED to attack threat of unified resistance is the reason they'd stop with that idea!
So no no no

While these are all valid points they don't actually apply to a real world scenario. Your third sentence... I do pray that that is the case.
