They can not accept that we were not made in the image of god.
We are how we are because we evolved this way. Our ancestors adapted to our environment to survive and that’s why we are what we are and look how we look today. I see so many animals that are similar to humans and can possibly be just like us in a million years.

    biology teaches us certain facts . all life on earth is related , DNA is universal and the code it uses is the same in every creature. weather its bacteria or man, second life if it arose on earth did so only one time and never did it twice. So it must be a pretty rare event. and lastly , man can recreate the primordial soup of life in a lab. And life never arises from it. and lastly science fails to answer the basic question where did we come from, and resorts to religion by saying everything exploded into being from nothing. and lastly twice , in my lifetime man has invented dark holes, dark matter , anti matter to balance a math equation when reality didnt match the expected values to support the theory. when we needed a leprecon or unicorn we just invented it, and said they are real.

    I dont necessarily think evolution is in contrast with a divine creator. Anyone that is aware of the unique flora and fauna of isolated islands and still denies evolution is too ignorant to even have a conversation with.
