Is it normal to think that people are watching me through my window when dark?

When it's dark out and I can't see, I have a paranoid feeling that someone could be looking in because there is no proof otherwise to deny it - I can't see them if they were looking back! xD IIN?

Is It Normal?
Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • I have curtains for this exact reason.

  • Curtains, shades, blinds, sheets...all things you can cover your windows with.

  • My parents are always scared of this but I do not get why. So what if they see you watching TV or something

  • Just sit in the dark, they won't be able to see you then.

  • Not to scare you but I was once using the laptop at 3am and looked at the window to see three hooded figures peering in (probably on the rob). Although they ended up more scared than me because I went outside and chased them.

      • Ha! I've been awake at 3am more often than I care to remember. Thank God for laptops and the internet. It used to be very lonely to be an insomniac and also to be cut off from a world that had closed for the night. No internet, no TV, no shops open and the only entertainment was the things you had pre-planned (like buying a book the day before). It's so much easier being an insomniac these days.

        • Lol, i know of your insomnia. I was just trying to make a joke about the matter :)

On a serious note, that's pretty crazy about the hooded figures. Funny and good that you chased them off too!

  • Yeah, but then again, I know that my neighbor DOES watch me because he's a fucking creepy old dude.
