  • Hmmm. One believes what one wants to believe.

You can say what you want.

Never say never. How can you say such a disgusting thing?

Shame us all you want. Abusing with lies? Let’s talk about lies which children are growing up in these days.

Bad people have caused more harm in our world than anything else. How am I harming you? Should I say that you are doing the same to me? I feel no shame because there is no reason for me to feel any in this case.

    • Yes you can believe in what you want, unless of course that belief is imposed upon others who do not have all the facts as yet (ie children)

Never is not such a bad word.
I say never in my lifetime (or obviously after death) Quite obviously for the last 2000 (and say a thousand years before that too) there has been no proof ever provided as to why anyone would believe in this fictional god figure. I've said this before, there is zero evidence of god existing. I therefore expect that in the next few decades that this proof of god won't be coming either. Especially since 'knowledge' is frowned upon even by the bible. (I can get the quote if you like, its about don't question just have blind faith)

What lies (other than unfounded religion as I just confirmed) are children learning these days exactly? Finding a planet other than Earth that can sustain life? Is that a lie? That our world will one day (in about 5 or so billion years) be gone? Is that a lie? That people (humans) have been here in this 13.7 BILLION universe life cycle for only 200,000 years, is THAT a lie?
I would love to know what science facts that children are thankfully taught these days, that you think is a lie.
Obviously Christianity is, just ask the Muslims! Its certainly not proven, on the contrary its proven that its the most unlikely scenarios of them all that god exists. And this is why religion has been removed from being forced onto children in main stream public schooling. If you feel children DO require these fairy tale teachings, PLEASE show me the reason why. Oh and don't say morals, I don't want to write a book back to you on how religion is anti-moralistic with evidence to show that.

The 'shame' is when people PUSH their unfounded lies onto others, especially children. For our society (ie in present school) to then try to explain the real science of the universe can sometimes be difficult for the children, and cause them to revert further into their made up fairy tale, usually out of fear alone. (oh and obviously ignorance)

I have no idea why you could hold any normal reasonable mind ability and then try to protect the foolish ways of out dated religion? It is the most mind boggling and 'bad' poor mindset that I can only attribute to brainwashing, likely originally provided by your parents!

      • I have a right to ‘impose’ my own beliefs onto my children as I see fit.

        We know why we believe.

Says who that it will be gone in about 5 or so billion years? Where is your proof for that? 13.7 billion years? As if.

I thank my parents for teaching me the best.

        • Quote: "I have a right to ‘impose’ my own beliefs onto my children as I see fit."

Nope. If your beliefs are illegal or against society then this is not ok.
It is my intention (and MOST others) that religion either becomes publicly illegal (ideally) or that society (politicians etc) do not involve any religion what so ever (like religious votes don't count or something good like that)

Quote: "We know why we believe."

? And that is why again? Or is it a hidden secret thing that only childish minds entertain?
I actually cannot think of ANY reason what so ever. The only reason that may come remotely close is that maybe we are all living in the matrix and what seems normal, isn't? But this is just playing. ALL other 'reasons' (huh!) are pathetic. There is no sugar coating this.

Quote: "Says who that it will be gone in about 5 or so billion years?"

Oh you haven't heard (as per normal)
Scientists have calculated that our universe (The Milky Way, since I'm sure you didn't know) is on a direct collision with Andromeda. At the moment, it is about 2.2 million light years away from us but the gap is closing at 500,000 km/hour! The initial impact may be about 3 Billion years, but I quote 5 Billion just to be sure that its well and truly impacted even our tiny solar system.

I wouldn't worry too much though, as people have only been on Earth for 200, 000 years, so in a whopping 5 Billion years its likely we'll all be extinct or evolved into some other lifeform that is NOT a person as you know it.

Plus the Sun is going to die (actually explode) too, but since this happening after the collision with Andromeda, no ones that concerned. (ie It will likely be hit and destroyed anyway!)

Quote: "Where is your proof for that? 13.7 billion years? As if."

Scientists have a lot of proof of this. So much so that it is now counted as FACT.
The 'proof' is not for one reason but many. All tests prove that the universe is certainly 13.7 Billion years old (approx.)
Since we are 100% confirmed this is fact now, finally 'religious' groups and believers are now saying that they ALSO agree with this. You may want to look up religious people who believe in Evolution, even the Pope does.
The government has also agreed that this can be taught as FACT in all public schools.
To think otherwise, is a little backward, and it approaches someone who either cannot let go of old fashioned wrong ideas, or is someone who is stupid or ignorant, or just some spammer who wants to cause mischief. Oh and there are also many religious people who think our universe is not 13.7 BILLION years old! Lol aren't they pathetic? Seriously it makes me laugh.

Quote: "I thank my parents for teaching me the best."

I feel they should be charged for neglect or abuse personally.
Anyway, at least now you know not to teach your children about a fairy tale god.

          • We believe because it is the only truth. No secret.

So now we can see into the future. Great.

I couldn’t care less how many people agree with that. It doesn’t mean that the rest of us will.

I feel they shouldn’t. With that said, I plan to do the same regardless of all the 'facts'.

            • What a shame.

Foolish religious people who have been given all the facts (repeatedly) and still have this unfounded belief in a made up god are certainly wasting their time whilst here.

Children, you have my wishes to laugh and point at them. They are truly clowns.

But didn't a man turn water into wine? No son, no that is absolutely ridiculous (and funny)

              Religious Ridiculous.
