Is it normal to think that my neighbor forcefully expels saliva because he hates me?

Every time I'm on my balcony my neighbor likes to loudly spit, using his whole throat to create the sound, making it clear to hear for his environment and especially me. is it normal to think that he deliberately chooses that moment to spit and that he does it extremely loud on purpose ?

    he's probably just an old guy. a lot of men do that, especially older men.
