Is it normal to think that couples who are on and off shouldn't be together?

I mean people say it's different when it happens to you, and I've heard others say it's "real love" when even after all they do to you, you still "love" them, but I think it's stupid. It seems like an obvious question, but I'd like to know the general opinion.

On and off relationships are a byproduct of desperation and blindness

Is it really any of your business what they do?

I'm aware it's not my business, I just can't help but wonder how healthy their relationship is.

Aaah I'm the same! Then your friends come crying to you over the same guy/girl that dumped them ooover and ooover again.

    Do people never LEARN?

Dump me ONCE and you wont get a second chance >>

    • I once got charged by a deer while walking in the woods and it made me rethink my life. Once I returned home I immediately dumped my slag of a girlfriend.

I agree, its like...why did I dump you the first time...? Oh yeah, cause I fucking hate you!
      lol
Ive never gone out with the same guy again after a break up.
The only way I can see it happening is if a situation caused you to be apart, not if you actively decided to break up.

Well I've been in a relationship for almost 3years and although we haven't broken up there are times where we have huge fights and almost breakup but in the end we do care about each other and mostly the reason that we don't breakup is because we know that we actually rely on each other. I wouldn't say any relationship is really healthy there are always going to be times where you disregard one another or just get in each others way, how they deal with it varies. As Bill Maher's mother says, "Every family is dysfunctional"

That thing about it being real love because it endures more is obviously bullshit. They get back together because they believe they would be alone otherwise and they realize they wouldn't prefer that (or they believe there's a serious chance of being alone otherwise and they are not willing to take that chance). It's as simple as that and they know it. But, for that very reason, I'm not sure I believe they should be apart. In the end, who the fuck knows what's best?
