I agree with you completely. I also believe technology will be the death of the human race as we know it. The sedentary existence of so many these days, spending 8+ hours in a cubicle, evenings spent watching TV or sitting at the computer, has got to be terribly unhealthy. On the other hand, how healthy can it be to exercise; walk, run, skate or ride a bike alongside vehicles spewing deadly poisons into the air?
Eating healthy is economically beyond so many in the US today. Fast food is not only convenient, it is affordable. When you are hungry, but nearly broke, how many other choices are available?
Perhaps Soylent Green is indeed in our future.
