I think the 'friend zone' thing is a bit stereotyped and kinda out of date. (I wont say stupid though I kinda want to...crap I guess I just did sorry) What about the im dating my best friend happy stereotype? Anyways if you think she is cute and you like her than try to hang out more. Talking in person is better, you can be friends with people online but if you want to date her than im guessing you want to be closer to her than to a computer. If you are afraid of rejection you won't get anywhere but since you guys havn't talked in awhile try to get to know her first. Don't pretend to be or act indifferent im blatantly calling that stupid. I don't know many girls that want someone not interested in them. If she acted indifferent to you, you would think she wasn't interested right? Get to know her and if you still like her ask her out. If she reject you than you guys will either stay friends or drift away yet again. If you like her try to stop her from drifting away but if your afraid of rejection you will get nowhere. I say go for it!
