Is it normal to think prince sucked as a musician

he were pretty talented and had some ok tunes but not really my cuppa tea either

in my opinion his best move were makin charlie murphy some pancakes

I also think that about Prince. If we want to talk about talent and sheer greatness, we should talk about Queen.

You're entitled to feel that way, everyone likes different things. I happen to completely disagree.

Prince was interesting sort of as far as using bright colors, having a gift for catchy singles, but he was complacent and would be an asshole to people and if anybody called him out on it he would just act like "shhh,it's just an act". He would constantly try to guilt women into sleeping with him by whining about his 5'5 height and subtly implying racism. He honestly felt like he deserved any woman in the world for being rich. He was a narsicist,obsessed with his face and muscles, trying to look dangerous and ferocious in pictures. he definitely had a small man's complex as much as i hate to use that diagnosis. He wanted to fuck as many different woman as he could and collected their photos and kept a list with dates and little summaries of the experience along with their phone number. i don't really know what to feel about him.

music was shit but unlike 99% of celebrities he wasn't a complete fuck head.

It's completely normal. Your taste is your taste. Also, people look at dead celebrities through rose tinted glasses. It's BS, be honest.

I didn't care much for his music, but I massively respect his influence and appreciate he's an idol.

Not a fan, either. But he did not suck. He did music which did not appeal to us.

To each his own. I have so many memories to the songs he sang wrote. Best memory was Christmas day when I was a teenager. Me and a bunch of my friends were singing Prince songs and eating Chinese food and generally having a great time.
