I've always enjoyed porn as a sort of warm up to getting the real thing. So for me, the type of porn I like, is the greatest thing since the invention of the can opener. But I have my limits. I could never ever watch any type of child porn. I think those who both watch, promote, and participate in child porn should be thrown in a deep hole in Antartica and left there to starve and or freeze to death. Hopefully slowly. Scat porn sickens me. Gay porn is totally unwatchable for me. Lesbian porn I find boring. The type of porn I like mirrors the type of sex I like. Porn is not ruining men, it is simply an enabler. I have looked at porn since I was 8yo and found my brothers stash of Playboys. I've read all the articles about how it makes men impotent, makes them have relationship problems, makes them view women as objects, etc. This is complete crap science. It's like saying if you take a drink of alcohol you'll be an alcoholic, which is the case for some, but not for everyone. As a 44yo man married for 20 years, I find myself in a near sexless marriage. My sex drive is still VERY VERY high which gives me two choices. Look at porn and masturbate....or cheat on my spouse (which is not an option in my book). I masturbate frequently, my wife knows and accepts it as she is aware that she doesn't fulfill my sexual needs.

Trust me when I say there is no lack of desire to be an "alpha male" and have sex with any woman who will let me. I'd LOVE that. But I can't keep my marital vows and do that, and it's not worth risking losing my family and potentially ending up with an STD or a child out of wedlock. In my opinion, looking at porn and jerking off is a wonderful compromise.
