Is it normal to think people with plastic surgery look stupid?

The people who choose to do it in the wrong reasons are always like " I wanna look like XYZ " and they end up not looking like the person they look really stupid most of the times they look nothing that they want to look like the person that's why I hate those who use plastic surgery for the wrong reasons. They are personally dumb because they for one reason are damaging their own appearance and its not a joke, it really isn't. There's a saying that you cannot become someone you're not which those people who use it for the wrong reasons.

Am I normal for thinking this or are my reasons not normal? Let me know your comments below.

Yeah, trying to look like someone else is a waste of time and money. That money could be put to something better like a car or a down payment for a house.

Despite the fact that I think it's a waste of money, I'd like to get surgery to lift my breasts. XD

Most of those people that gave the pills and creams good reviews and said they gave miracle results are fake reviews that the companies paid them to do. XD

I've tried the creams and the pills. They smoothed out the wrinkles on them, but they did absolutely nothing to lift them.

Dolly Parton looks great... and she has long admitted to plastic surgery to maintain her looks. Many other people have also improved their looks as well.

A reality is a lot of people have plastic surgery and no one can tell. They look better, not worse, and don't look fake.

A good plastic surgeon is an essential requirement for many medical patients to recover or at least look better after some injury or surgery that they were not expecting.

However, their are a few who do plastic surgery for the wrong reasons and an unskilled surgeon may leave obvious signs of the surgery. I personally believe those are in the minority.

Why does it bother you. If people want to waste their money that’s their choice. So long as it’s not being paid for with public money it’s not affecting you. If someone chooses to alter their appearance that’s their business. Personally I think people look stupid when they cover their bodies with loads of tattoos, but I don’t bleat on about it because it’s their business, it’s got nothing to do with me. You need to chill out a bit, live and let live. We are all entitled to make our own choices regardless of whether others think they are good choices, it’s called democracy and living in a free country.

  • You're normal for thinking it but people must choose their own paths

With something like this it's being done to their own body, people should accept responsibility for their own actions. If you say the practice itself should be outlawed, I think you'd have a hard time getting that through legally. For one many people think plastic surgery is okay to exist. For two there are actual health reasons a person needs it.

What you can do which is healthy for you is choose not to have superficial cosmetic surgery and assess how someone having that surgery influences your perception of them (be wary of dogma if you do this)

So for example, someone you just started dating shares they had some work done. That can be an alert to you to look for similar decision making skills, which would shed light on the compatibility

Or same scenario but with a friend or co-worker, you could treat it like yes you disagree with that choice but yes it's worth it to keep the connection with that person amicable

I would say yes, but it's a difficult question because there could be people out there who have had really good surgery that it subtle enough for you not to notice. So it's hard to judge. You only really notice the botch jobs.

Some of them do look stupid because they’re so obvious. I know people who had an odd feature that made an improvement.

Personally, most of the time if I look at before and after plastic surgery pictures (and not just the extreme examples), I always prefer the before. It never looks quite right afterwards; fake looking at best and botched at worst.

I find it really sad when young celebrities have already had a bunch of plastic surgery done, and in most cases they weren't even unattractive before. It makes me wonder what their self esteem is like, since it seems like in a lot of cases once they start, they can't stop, and they eventually end up massively overdoing it. It's like once they get one thing done, they develop a new insecurity and the cycle continues until they're unrecognizable. I also wonder if their plastic surgeons tell them they have flaws they really don't in order to make more money.

For example, there are some semi-recent pictures of Megan Fox that very much suggest she's had plastic surgery, and it's a shame because there was absolutely nothing wrong with her face before, and she looked better before. I know she claims she hasn't had any work done, but personally I have a hard time believing that. People's faces don't naturally change that drastically just with age.

I also do not understand the huge, puffy lips that look like they were stung by a bee, the huge cheekbones and almost sucked in looking cheeks, the unnaturally skinny noses, etc. None of it is even somewhat attractive. I just find it sad that some people feel they need to go to that extent.

It's only an issue when people do too much. If it's done tastefully people can actually look a bit better.

Yeah. I mean some do look good with it because they make very subtle changes but it's become a bigger and bigger trend to take it too far. It ages someones face terribly which is ironic since that's what they're trying to avoid... Just look at Lindsey Lohan, she looks in her late 50s now from everything she's injected into her face plus drugs have hardly helped but there's many celebs who do drugs, get out of it and still look healthy so it's definietely mostly plastic surgery. Kylie Jenner is starting to look old too. I also never understood getting major injections into your lips, like fine if you're a person with very thin lips and you wanna plump them up a bit but people really make them HUGE and it looks horrible and often I find their lips look lumpy and uneven in real life or on videos where they cannot photoshop them to hell and back.

There are a lot of unscrupulous doctors out there who will do all matter of plastic surgery to alter a person's appearance with no regard as to whether, or not the person in mentally healthy condition just as long as they get paid.
