Is it normal to think nobody is happy, so there’s no point?

Nobody I know is happy in life. Even people who have things going well, there’s always something from their past bothering them, or they’re dealing with stuff emotionally.

“Life is pain” “Life sucks and then you die” and everybody is just like “haha yup” and go on about their miserable day in their miserable life.

What the fuck is the point of life if no one is enjoying it? If nobody is satisfied?

That's called depression. Plenty of people are happy. Stop isolating yourself or only hanging around other depressed people.

Life has ups and downs, troughs and peaks, ebbs and flows. Know that your happiness is not out there in anyone or anything. Its within you. I like the way you think SmokeEverything.

Bad things have happened to me in my past, and I have worries, but I'm still very happy overall.

Nobody's life is perfect. Everybody has problems. You can have problems and still be happy.

Without darkness there would be no reason to love the light.

  • Maybe life ISN’T about being happy, but rather making use of the time we’re productively.

Maybe you should stop hanging out with miserable people. Have you tried drinking or taking drugs? They make life way better. It also helps to completely drop out of polite society as possible, work as little as possible, don't try owning a home or car, etc. Living as a corporate slave is miserable, don't let anyone tell you that you have to.
