  • If you took the time to read my original post you would realise we are kind of on the same page here. The reason I got so mad is that for years I had done pretty much all the housework, that also includes, shopping, cooking, washing, ironing, etc and worked 20 hours a week. He at this point was not working at all, but was not doing an acceptable job of the housework. It was only when I got really mad and took extreme action that he got his act together. But by doing that he proved he could have been doing a good job all along. In a way he ended up as a victim of his own laziness.

      • Yes that's why only one of us works full time and the other works part time and takes care of the domestic stuff. It's just that I used to be the part time worker and domestic godess whilst he went to work full time, but now it's the other way round. It means that we have free time to go and enjoy our evenings, weekends, holidays etc.

        • Why don't you just leave your house, and go travel and see the country. Your domestic situation seems to be a source of stress so why not just leave it behind?
