A lot of these stories are obviously written by people who are so self-conscious. These people will tear others down that have stories like "I love the way I look," by being catty.

I hate how society pushes and pushes for self-confidence in girls, but then when someone is confident, they are torn down for being cocky and self-absorbed.

My favorite ones are the stories like "My boyfriend looking at porn makes me feel suicidal" and "Big boobs are DISGUSTING AND SLUTTY!" and other people agree with them. Come on, really!?
Get some self-esteem, people, and stop ridiculing others who love themselves!

    its not like those of us with low self esteem choose to be this way. most of us wish and work to be more confident but it just doesnt come as easily to some as it does others. (i do agree about the other part though, i never put down people who love themselves, i feel happy for them because every one deserves to be happy with themselves)

    women should be shy and not cocky .. guys can be a little cocky but not arogant ... anything else for women or men is anoying, because its un-naturel.

    lol, youre gonna hate me even though i dont "tear down anyones' self esteem". though i do have to beg the question, how easy do you think it is to get self confidence in yourself? and its not just people with low self esteem putting others down, its also people with high self esteem or things like walking into a locker room and having low self esteem because everyone is "bigger then you". self esteem is how somone views themselves not how others view them (granted sometimes people oppinions will drag them down, but that isnt the case all the time)

    low self esteem is annoying, unfounded high self esteem is annoying. as with most things, moderation is best
