I believe we are here to cram as much fun, enjoyment (excitement?) and pleasure as we possibly can into our lives. If helping others, making money or just raising a family with wonderful kids is what gives one the most pleasure in life, then buy all means, that is what one should do.
Avoiding a pleasurable life because one is afraid of getting hurt, social situations, afraid of death or any one of a thousand other reasons is the greatest sin one can commit.
Come on all you depressed, social anxiety, sexually repressed or confused IINers, please, repeat after me;
Live each day as if it will be your last, but dream as if you will live forever.
