While I'm with my mom and I say something "smart" she usually hits me, slaps me, throws stuff at me, pulls my hair, or pinches my face. This is just a short summary of what she does..I wont say anything else but that's mostly what she does. <3Makayla
Oh, hell no, this is not normal at all. just because she is your Mother, that does not give her the right to put her hands on you!! NOBODY SHOULD BE HITTING YOU!!! You need to break the silence and talk to another Adult that you trust, maybe a teacher?
If this is serious, you need to tell someone you trust and who can help you.
Ugh. That sounds terrible and not normal at all. Can you talk to another trusted adult about it who can help you more than anyone here can.
I don't know how old you are, but only you can say whether or not it is abuse. We don't know you or your mom so it really is for you to decide. What are you wanting to do about it? Call the police? Have her arrested? Or do you just want it to stop? You could try talking to her and telling her that you feel it is abusive. You could let her know that if it continues you will have to take further steps to make it stop. The deal is, are you going to follow through with what you say. If you can't call the police on her, then don't bother saying that you will. Idle threats will get you no where fast. What about telling another "safe" adult, and asking them for help. Does she leave marks or bruises on you? Do people see them and ask questions?

If shes a calm, relax type of person, sit down and talk to her. My mom used to do that i just told her off and when she used to hit me it wont hurt so she gets peefed of and stops but yeh its normal
ur mom needs help try to know why she did this to you maybe she has a ghost inside her you know she is not her at momemts like that... because there are no such a mom in this world
