Is it normal to think "friday" and "my jeans" are product of brainwashing?

When I see a bunch of preppy girly girls jumping up and down in those videos singing in the annoying voices flipping their girly hair back and forth , I can't help but think so..
"Hannah Montana is wearing my jeans"...
