Is it normal to talk about your case while in jury duty?

So when you serve on a jury you are warned not to talk about the case with *anyone* until it's over. Is it normal to break that rule? It seems like it would be hard to resist.

Is It Normal?

      • speaking of fight club, which I'm not supposed to do I just punched my friend in the face, the one who pisses in his room, because he was complaining about people "not obeying him". I told him nobody has to obey him and he said punch my hand and I did and he said "see you did obey me" and I decked him in the face afterwards. He isn't happy.

        • He's lucky that's all you did considering he pisses in his room.

          • I haven't lived with him in a long time. He's lived with other people I know and they all complain he does that.

            • Yeah, any kinda weirdness with human waste or bad personal hygiene is a friendship deal breaker for me. I hope that guy knows he's lucky to have you as a friend.

  • Just dont go writing a blog about it. Honestly I think when they say dont talk about it, they mean dont go tellig the world. Im sure they expect you to tell your friends/family

  • If it's "normal" to take a very real chance of ending up in prison, the yes, of course, it's normal.
Just why is it you feel incapable of doing your civic duty as instructed?

  • I told my family every detail as I'm sure 90 percent of other people do

  • I completely understand you, it can be difficult to refrain from speaking about a case but remember, you could jeopardise the integrity of the court.
