Okay, so, my mother is still in university training to become a nurse. She's nearly done with school. I asked her to monitor me. I told her that I will take one 20 mg pill of Focalin every day for the next week. Then, after the week is done, I will send her the e-mail to show my pychiatrist, so the next time I see him, I will see if he prescribes me the medication or not. Yes, I understand that taking someone else's medication can harm, because it is meant to help the prescribed person, not you. It can injure you or possibly kill, depending how you take it. Now that she understands that I know the consequences, she's going to kind of monitor me for the next week. I don't take it JUST for high, I've noticed that helps with my anxiety and I'm going to see if he'll give me a "demo" of the medication, then I'll visit him again and tell him the results. So, it's all okay now, hopefully. I did take Abilify, it worked, but it's just not that effective on me. The Focalin seems to get rid of my anxiety, most of it not all, for the time it's in my system. Then after it's out of me, the anxiety slowly comes back. I want to take Focalin and see if it will help my anxiety. YES, I DO know it's for ADD and ADHD, but my brother doesn't have either of those, but he can get out control (not hyper), but he doesn't take any medication he's given.
Why not smoke weed for anxiety. I would recommend taking this drug as a prescription if you're currently abusing it. Its very easy to fall back to the addiction people do it all the time when they haven't even used the drug in years. After a while you're not going to get the same high, you're already chasing the first one. I think you have a bigger problem then you realize.
I already mentioned in the comments twice that I will be asking my psychiatrist to have Focalin as a prescription.
And I would use weed, but I only know one person who sells it and I would be terrified of getting caught. And there's also negative side effects that I wish not to have.
I meant wouldn't recommend sorry for the typo. If you're abusing the drug getting a prescription makes it too easy. If you don't live in a place with medical marijuana I wouldn't turn to weed either
