Is it normal to suffer the effects of isolation but not be in solitude?

While studying up on the effects of isolation I found that I had all the similar effects: anxiety, depression, aggression, stress, low motivation and lowered impulse control. But I live with my family and go to school and talk plenty; except I'm not close to anyone and rarely go out and when I do it's with my family or by myself. Does anyone else have the same problems as me?

Is It Normal?

  • I have the exact same problem as you. I do want to have a couple of close friends but I have yet to figure out how I'm going to make them. Good luck to you!
