Is it normal to suddenly be aggressive during sex?

I'm usually a nice and sweet guy, but my personality "transform" during sexual intercourse.

For example, I become super aggressive and alpha, being rough with my partner by fucking him like a mad-man gone wild. I would slap his ass until it's beat red, spit on his face, and call him all kinds of degradable insults. Sometimes I'll even suffocate his face with my sweaty balls.

Is that weird? In fact, I like to call it my hidden alter ego, since it only comes out when I'm horny. Or perhaps it has something to do with the increase in testosterone during sexual arousal?

And yes, my partner and I are both gay males.
