Any intelligent person eventually has to come to the realisation that all religion is man-made.
i hope so. in the bible incest is wrong but you can fuck your daughter, go figure. who writes this shit anyway. I worship the father of all creation not some deity called dog in reverse. turns out all religion has been infiltrated by what i call the evil men of history and they have perverted truth causing man to worship lucifer . If it sounds like i have my own religion i say unto you , you say it not i.
Yeah I wanna know too. I have strong suspicions which one it is but not sure.
Probably the only one you're still at risk of being killed if you leave it... Islam.
lol no i was thinking about the Catholic church, the only place you can be killed for leaving islam is places under control by isis so ... get ur facts straight
edit : i think crappuccino is the op and i got it right :))

(this doesn't take into account mob violence btw, like what killed Bangladeshi writer Avijit Roy, this is just state-supported executions)
And while you can't get killed for it in most places, it's still very frowned upon. Even in the West it's not uncommon for kids to get disowned by their families for leaving the religion or simply not being religious enough.
I was raised Catholic btw... nobody gives a shit if you leave at all in most places. Maybe in the American Deep South or Utah, but hardly any "Christians" in Europe are seriously religious.
Absolutely I find this very normal because you're growing up you're starting to form your own opinions and ideas of what should and should not be and if the topic is religion and you don't agree with what you're being told then you need to go on your own Quest and find what religion does agree with you and your morals on the inside of you what agrees with your heart and don't let anyone tell you otherwise if it feels wrong then it's wrong to you!
For me I don't prefer anyone religion I just call myself spiritual because of the fact that hey I just a little bit of religion from a little bit of each one out there and I make it all my own so I take a little bit from Christianity I take a little bit from Hinduism I take a little bit from paganism I takes a little bit you know from Buddha you know it's just whatever I take a little bit from here and there all the good stuff and I just make it all my own do I believe in God yes there's a higher power out there does he watch over us does he make miracles happen yes do I believe in evil do I believe bad things happen yes I do do I believe the two forces Clash yes I do. Anyhow I hope you find your way I'm still on my quest I'm still questioning things and I think I always will
Yes, I was raised Christian and prodestant. I was taken to church nearly every Sunday growing up!
In fact, when I was in high school I would drive myself to Sunday school and stay for the main service !
After I moved out after high school I pretty much completely stopped going to church
I will go at Christmas or Easter sometimes if my Mother asks me to go with her but that's about it.... and that's really just about tradition and trying to keep her happy
I don't think I've been to church otherwise in well over 5+ years!
Not only normal, but reccomended. If the "truth" was so self evident, it wouldn't require your parents indoctrination. Help the world advance and abandon your parents mythology.
It is perfectly normal. It does not mean your community is going to accept that decision, though.
