Is it normal to still have pain in your foot years after a foot injury?

I fractured a bone in my foot back in grade 7. I ended up getting a cast for it but up until this day (I'm 18 now) I STILL have pain in my foot. Is this normal?

I have, they say it's "normal" but I think they just don't realize the severity of my situation.

I shit a real bad bean and beef burrito last night, and it still hurts my asshole.
    So ya, pretty normal.
    It's called "flaming asshole pain"

I would personally sat that this is normal. Sometimes, while the bone may have been healed, the muscle tissue may still be effected. I've broken my arm years ago, and even now I can't turn that arm the wrong way without pain. It's minor pain for me, but if you feel the pain is more noticeable, you can always check with your doctor.

Absolutely. I've broken my foot several times in the past and years later I still have pain. Doc said it's normal.

You should see a doctor. Might continue to get worse.

  • I don't know if this is normal, but I've had this happen too. I've broken my ankle at least 4 times and my foot twice. If I stomp or anything like that, I get shooting pains.
