Is it normal to steal credit for other people's farts?

I lie and take credit for the farts if others, including dogs and other animals. Sometimes it's blatantly obvious that I am lying but nobody challenges me. I don't know if this behavior is looked down upon. What do you think?

    Damn, I say this is not normal. Doing the opposite is what people tend to do of course. But I say that you are doing the world a service. I wish others would follow your example of altruistic fart blame taking. You sacrifice your own pride like some kind of fartyr. You are my hero, and you keep doin you.
