I was in a relationship with a guy for over 3 years that I just could not stand having sex with. He was not bad looking and took good care of himself, very fit , so much my family and friends said he looked like a GI JOE Character. I just never felt that way. Then I started thinking well maybe I will if I give it time. I really felt like it was just torture to sleep with him and he did not do anything that turned me off, just never had that feeling or attraction.

    That is completely abnormal. Sex is not everything in a romantic relationship, of course, but it's still a vital factor.

    You say that he wasn't doing anything to turn you off. Was he NOT doing something that you want him to? Have you talked to him about this?

    Actually my first thought is that maybe your expectations for sex are simply too high. Not every couple has mind-blowing sex, and over time things do get stale.

      We are not together. I know what you mean and my expectations are not high. I just never developed intimate feels for this person.

    Sex is an important part of a relationship and should be pleasurable for both individuals. I am glad to see that you are no longer with that person. I have met many individuals that are great, but there is no chemistry. Chemistry is natural; you can't force it.

    Relationships should not depend on sex. Talk to him about it.

    If you're that shallow that you'll dump someone based on sex, you're going to have a fairly lonely life.

    Believe me, as soon as you have good sex with someone else you'll be done with this guy. Bad sex gets old quickly.

    It's not romance without attraction. You don't stay in a relationship just to please other people. The longer you stay in, the harder it will be to break off.

    I kinda know how you feel. I don't really like kissing my boyfriend. I think I'm physically attracted to him, but I just think it's that he's not a very good kisser. Haha
