Is it normal to spend new year's alone?

IF you hate being alone at new year, why don't you start planning the next one well in advance so that you're not by yourself?

I've spent a couple of new years by myself and also xmas this year and I don't find it any big deal, it's only another day on the calendar.

Being lonely is another issue and if that's what's bothering you then you need to do something about it

Spending New Years alone isn't a bad thing. Celebrating the new year is kind of pointless anyway.

I will be spending mine with my family, but it still feels like I'm spending it alone especially when I'm curled up against my computer. Remember, you are not alone.

I have a boyfriend, but we didn't spend Christmas or new year together. He went interstate to spend time with his family, while I was at home, alone.

It's sad, but I'll get over it.
