  • It's not illegal to take pictures of people in public. You do not have an expectation of privacy in public.

    • no I did not say that. I said that its illegal to take someones picture and put it online for everyone to see WITHOUT consent from that person. Please pay attention. Also yes that IS ILLEGAL! This law goes for all people! You can not put someone online without consent. Otherwise they can sue you. This goes for pictures, movies anything. If you have no consent its illegal.

      • It's perfectly legal, actually. Show me the law against it.

        • facebook is legal since those people are sharing there own pictures. You are not stalking people and saying "Going to post your picture all over the internet" its you posting yourself. If you post someone else you have to ask permission. You might be upset that's the rule but it is. Also if a newspaper interviews you like for a sport article generally you are giving them permission to post you. I guess you cant read though and missed the part where it said that. You might think its cute to do this without permission but its against the law. You can not post another persons likeness without consent.

          • Most people on facebook have pictures of themselves with others and pictures taken in public that happen to show other people. Newspapers take pictures in public such as sporting events, concerts and festivals. Permission is not needed to publish the photos taken legally in public.

It's not illegal, bro. Like I said. Show me the law.
