Is it normal to sleep better with the lights on?

It is not to do with nyctophobia. It's just that I feel a sense of security. Is it normal?

I always have my salt lamp on, 24/7. It has a nice glow at night. I can sleep without it, and I don't specifically use it for a nightlight, but it is nice to have.

I think it's normal to have a security object/routine/whatever at bed. It makes sense, psychologically.

I've had mine...Idk how long now. Maybe 5 years? Beautiful 6 or 7kg natural cut.

It's meant to help reduce dust and whatnot, but I think this house is a lost cause for that.

My grandmother had a spherical sculpted one but she never used it so the aunt who gave it to her took it back :/

My salt room was selling mini usb egg shaped ones for $10 so I got three...one for my bf, one for my mum and one for my dog cos she needed a night light. For some reason, some genius shoved it outside when the dog died and it got rained on and fucked. Pissed me the fuck off.

I think I've only had mine for maybe six months. I also really love aromatherapy!

I see it as a normal thing. People has always some sort of phobias - some are with spider or thunder. You have the "darkness" stuff if that's the right name to call it with.

There's nothing serious with sleeping the light on. Electricity just always cause money to pay, nothing else. If sleeping with the light on makes you feel safe, definetily do it. It's your phobia, accept it.
