I'm guessing you live in the city or suburbs. It might seem reasonable to pick up poop in your location. When I had small children, I used to do that myself. I live in a rural area and between the deer shit, bear shit, and dog shit, it would be hard to keep up with on the acre I mow. I just drive over it with the lawn tractor and it all goes away. Magic! It breaks down pretty quickly once it is small pieces and spread out. Only takes about a week and there is no evidence it was ever there.
