The stuff makes great fertilizer, why wouldn't you want to spread it around your lawn? Hell, people pay big bucks for natural fertilizers, but the dog shit is free, so? Perhaps if one wanted to lay out on the lawn, it might be best not to fertilize often, but you made no mention of spending time on the lawn.
